3/16/06: Ha! The folly of keeping a "news" page. Now that it's been four years since I updated this page, I'm going to cop out and point to jeffcarlson.com, where I keep a blog that's updated frequently. For iMovie-related information, see my iMovie Visual QuickStart Guide blog.
3/15/02: A lot has happened in the last six months. I published iMovie 2 for Macintosh: Visual QuickStart Guide, and embarked on Real World Adobe GoLive 6, which is nearing completion. Also, the February 2002 issue of HOW Magazine includes an article about designer Stefan Sagmeister's Year Without Clients, which was fun to write and is now online at icograda.org.
9/24/01: I have two articles in the October 2001 issue of HOW Magazine: "Simplicity in Motion" looks at Hillman Curtis's Flash work, while "Compaq iPaq Should Simplify its OS and Stylus Silo" is a long title for a review of the popular, but flawed, Pocket PC handheld. (Neither article is online.)
8/16/01: The past month has seen the release of Handspring Visor: Visual QuickStart Guide and Palm Organizers, 2nd Edition: Visual QuickStart Guide. It's also seen a well-earned two week vacation!
7/15/01: HOW Magazine has published their August 2001 issue, which contains my article "Navigation Like You've Never Seen" (not online). It's a look at alternative methods of Web navigation.
11/1/00: Real World Adobe GoLive is released! This 1,000 page book contains all you need to know about designing, building, and maintaining Web sites with Adobe Golive. Jeff Carlson redesigned the realworldgolive.com site to reflect the new book's look and content (though in significantly fewer than 1,000 pages!).
8/8/00: Never Enough Coffee Creations debuts its new Web site redesign. Sure, everyone else is doing it, but in this case the redesign helped work through issues while writing the upcoming book Real World Adobe GoLive 5.
7/25/00: Jeff Carlson and NECoffee are featured in a chapter of Web Design Studio Secrets, 2nd Edition.
