Winner of a Guggenheim Fellowship, Robert Sward is the author of 12 books
including The Jurassic Shales, A Novel published by Coach House Press and
Four Incarnations, New & Selected Poems, published by Coffee House Press.
Lucille Clifton selected Sward for a Villa Montalvo Literary Arts Award,
and his fiction has been heard on National Public Radio's "The Sound of
Writing." Sward currently teaches for the University of California
Extension in Santa Cruz. His serio-comic novel, A Much-Married Man, will
appear in 1996.
